Pompano will race Sunday

Pompano Beach, FL — Pompano Park has announced that there will be racing on Sunday night (March 15).

Due to the Covid-19 (coronavirus), Pompano Park is limiting access to the barn area and paddock through Gate 5 to essential personnel only. This includes licensed trainers, drivers, caretakers, veterinarians, farriers (blacksmiths) and tack and feed supply vendors.

Horse transportation vehicles arriving from out-of-state must contact the race office for entry approval prior to arrival at Pompano Park.

We are looking to provide a safe, secure environment free from the Covid-19.

Individuals deemed high risk — or any individual arriving from high risk areas — will be required to be quarantined for a period of 14 days prior to entry to the barn area or paddock.

Non-essential personnel and owners will not be allowed in the paddock, however, the grandstand and simulcasting areas will be open.
