Power-packed closing night on tap at Greenville (Ohio)

Greenville, OH — The curtain will fall on the shortened meet at the Great Darke County Fair on Thursday (Aug. 26) with a 15-race card featuring the $35,000 Gene Riegle Memorial Open Pace and the $22,000 Arnie Almahurst Trot.

The undercard features 10 splits of the Dr. H.M. Parshall Memorial, featuring record purses and the highest quality of competition in recent memory.

General admission is $3. Tickets are available for purchase at the ticket office next to the main grandstand entrance. The first 1,000 paid fans can redeem their tickets for this year’s commemorative Gene Riegle glass. The Greenville Municipal Concert Band will perform throughout the program, and champion 3-year-old pacer Charlie May, while he will not race, is scheduled to make an appearance.
