Proceeds from yearlings to benefit New Vocations

by Dot Morgan

Laura, OH — Barbara Amos of Geneseo, New York has notified New Vocations that the entire proceeds from the sale of her two Pegasus Spur yearlings will be donated to New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program.

Spring Haven Farm is acting as agent for the colt and filly that are catalogued in the Blooded Horse Sale for Tuesday, August 28.

“This is a tremendous gesture on the part of Barbara Amos,” said Executive Director Dot Morgan. “I can’t thank her enough for supporting this mission. Perhaps it will encourage others to make a similar donation.”

“There is no cause closer to my heart than this,” Amos said.

Bellerophon is a bay colt out of the triple 2:00 producing mare, LV Goldie 4,1:57 ($160,000). Peggy G is a brown filly, the second foal of Second Harmony 6,1:57.4s.

The yearlings are currently boarded at a farm near Avon, New York and transportation is being sought to get them to Spring Haven Farm in Utica, Ohio.
