Quentin McKenney, 84, dies

Columbus, OH — Longtime New England driver/trainer Quentin E. McKenney, 84, died Oct. 21, 2011.

Mr. McKenney spent his last few years racing at Rosecroft Raceway. USTA records show him with 125 career wins as a driver and 163 wins as a trainer.

His best year was in 1998 where he was racing the Open pacer Palmetto Dear (1:49.1z, $271,541).

A memorial tribute has been planned for Friday night (Oct. 28) at Rosecroft Raceway.
