Ft. Washington, MD — After a 2-1/2 month break live harness racing, action returns to Rosecroft Raceway on Saturday evening (March 10), with a first post of 7:25 p.m.

The opening night card is heavy on distaffers with four races exclusively for fillies and mares while the rest also feature plenty of distaffers.

The feature on the card is the tenth race, which has a field having earned more than $1.4 million lifetime. Doctor Rich returns for his final season of racing and has earned more than $400,000 lifetime for owners Allan Pullman and Barry Glickstein. Now driven and trained by Tyler Davis, grandson of harness icon Eddie Davis, this one was last seen visiting the Rosecroft winner’s circle in the first annual Old Timers race last December. He’ll be starting from the three post.

Gottaservesomebody continues on the comeback path after having raced only five times in the last two years and draws the nine post. Audrey Callahan’s 9-year-old is trained by Alvin Callahan and driven by Justin Hite.

Another oozing with backclass is Ithinki’msomebody, winner of almost $350,000 lifetime. This 10-year-old campaigns for owner-trainer Amanda Jackson and leaves from post five for driver Wayne Long. This one shows a win at Rosecroft last fall.

For early arrivals to “The Raceway by the Beltway,” qualifiers are scheduled for 5 p.m.
