Dover, DE – Ragtime Red, a 3-year-old-filly, raced against the best aged pacing mares on the grounds and won in 1:52.4 at Bally’s Dover on Wednesday night (Nov. 26).

Ragtime Red and Laurel Court left together at the start of the race before Ragtime Red cleared for the lead while parked to the opening quarter in a taxing :27.1.
The 4-5 betting choice, Ragtime Red, continued on an easy lead reaching the half in :56.1 (:29.1).
Jett Propelled pulled on the right lines early and battled pacesetter Ragtime Red up the backstretch. Disturbed Hanover followed seconnd over and Incaseyoudidntknow proceeded to race into contention third over. Laurel Court sat comfortably in the pocket.
Ragtime Red was able to shake off the parked out grind of Jett Propelled and sprinted to the three quarters in 1:24.2. Ragtime Red had company entering the top of the stretch when Disturbed Hanover circled three wide around a tiring Jett Propelled, which carried Incaseyoudidntknow four wide.
Ragtime Red sprinted clear in the stretch to win by a measured length, pacing the mile in 1:52.4 and paid $3.60 to win.
Pocket sitter Laurel Canyon finished second and Jett Propelled third.

DSBF Eliminations for 3-year-olds begin on Monday (Dec. 1) with a purse of $20,000 each race.
