Nichols, NY — Ramborain and Dan Daley took the featured $15,000 Open Trot at Tioga Downs on Saturday (June 14).
Duly Resolved (Tyler Miller) took the early lead and led to the quarter in :26.2. Dewey Arnold (Aaron Byron) took his turn on the lead with a lap to go and led to the half in :54.4. Ramborain ($19.00) took over going first-up down the backstretch and reached three-quarters first in 1:23.2.
Second-place finisher Purple Lord (Jim Pantaleano) battled Ramborain all the way down the stretch. Ramborain dug in deep and won in a lifetime best 1:53.4. Mon Amour (Mike Merton) finished third.

Ramborain is a 4-year-old gelding by Crazy Wow. He is trained by Dan Daley for owners Ann-Mari Daley, Todd Van Alstyne and Margeret Waterbury. It was his fifth win this season and the 11th of his career.
Tyler Miller won the last four races of the night. He got his wins with Our Night Fury, Smart As Hill, P Chico and Kingpin Hanover.
