It’s almost the last chance to get offspring from Ready Cash, who passed away in 2023.
This year, the second-to-last offspring of this French stallion, who has had a significant impact on trotting breeding in Europe, is being sold.
At the Italian ITS auction held on Monday (Sept. 8) at a horse center outside Milan, the top price was 210,000 Euros – 247,000 dollars – for the auction’s only Ready Cash offspring, the colt Last Chance, out of the good Italian mare Tessy d’Ete. The buyer was Italy’s Incolinx Stable.
The second-most expensive was another colt, Lewis Wise As (sired by Maharajah), which the ambitious German, Karin Walter-Mommert, bought for 170,000 Euros. Lewis Wise As has the same dam, Temple Blue Chip, as Vivid Wise As – winner of 3.3 million Euros.
The most expensive filly at the auction was League Wise As (sired by Muscle Hill), which sold for 130,000 Euros. Two more yearlings sold for 100,000 Euros – Life Style Bi (sired by Gimpanzee) and Lupo Killer Gar (sired by Captain Corey).
The average price for the 133 yearlings sold was 32,000 Euros.
