Freehold, NJ — Steven Reisenweaver rolled down the road and William Clark Jr. powered to victory in their respective $7,500 divisions of the American Harness Drivers Club Trot at Freehold Raceway on Saturday (Nov. 16).

Reisenweaver registered a 2:02.1 win in the first AHDC division when he delivered 9-5 favorite Awol Hanover to victory.
Clearing the lead past a :29.1 first quarter, Reisenweaver cruised on a comfortable lead to a :59.4 half and through three-quarters in 1:31.1 before sealing the win by 2-1/2 lengths at the beam. Limerence (Dawn Anderson) kicked off a ground-saving trip to take second as did Zlatan (Jacob Stillwell) in third.
Reisenweaver owns and trains Awol Hanover, a 10-year-old gelding by Donato Hanover. He paid $5.60 to win.
Clark scored as the longest shot on the board in the second AHDC split, winning with Hunters Gal in 2:02.3.
Clark landed his charge in third to a :29.1 first quarter set by Exchequer (Bruce Baker) and remained in position through a :59.2 half. The tempo slowed into the backstretch, and Clark took the opportunity to push Hunters Gal out of third and press Exchequer to three-quarters in 1:30.4.
Hunters Gal stayed alongside Exchequer through the turn and put away that rival in the lane while withstanding a late kick from pocket-sitter Jessies Outlawed (Pearly Allen) to win by three-quarters of a length. Exchequer settled for third.
Clark trains Hunters Gal, a 6-year-old mare by CR Power Glide, for owner Mary Cuerbo. She paid $43.40 to win.
AHDC action continues on Sunday (Nov. 17) at Harrah’s Philadelphia and next Saturday (Nov. 23) for the next leg of the club’s fall trotting series at Freehold Raceway. First-race post time at Harrah’s Philadelphia is 12:40 p.m. (EST) and 12:30 p.m. (EST) at Freehold Raceway.
