Columbus, OH — Richard W. DeSantis, 64, died Aug. 14, 2013, after a four month battle with cancer.

Mr. DeSantis was born Jan. 3, 1949, and began his harness career as a trainer/driver and later became a presiding judge in New York State.

He was also the creator and owner of Victory Lane Liniment.

He is survived by his wife, Kelli; brother, Warren (Karen); and a niece and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Al and Gloria.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later today or tomorrow.
