Wilkes-Barre, PA — Mike Simons picked up his 3,000th career victory at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs on Wednesday night (Aug. 14).

The longtime Pocono standout drove Mac’s Bad Boy, a horse he owns and who is trained by his longtime racing partner Gail Wrubel, to a victory in the 14th race conditioned trot for the milestone win.

Simons picked up his first driving win back in 1983. He has career earnings of more than $22 million and he’s been a regular among the leaders in the Pocono driving colony for well over two decades.

The entire racing community at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs would like to congratulate Mike on his outstanding achievement.
