Columbus, OH — Richard “Dick” Jones, 85, former associate editor of Hoof Beats magazine, died July 27, 2017 after a lengthy illness.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan; daughter, Laura Jones-Ball (Jonathan Ball); son, Steven; and his grandchildren, James, Rhys, and Darin. He was preceded in death by his older son, David.
