Yonkers, NY — A reminder regarding Yonkers Raceway’s matinee program this Sunday (Aug. 6), with a 12:30 p.m. first post. It’s the fourth of eight consecutive Sundays.

It’s a dozen-race card, with races two (post time 12:55 p.m.) through five (2:25 p.m.) of the ‘French’ theme, as in overflow fields at the mile and one-quarter distance. The $68,000 Open Handicap goes as the third race, a field of nine with Hemi Seelster (Jason Bartlett) sent behind the eight-ball.

The ‘New York, New York Double’ is also back this Sunday, including Saratoga’s third race (post time 2:07 p.m.) and Yonkers’ seventh race (post time 3:05 p.m.). Program pages can be found at this link.
