Romanee Blue Chip much the best in Meadows feature

Washington, PA — Out uncovered just past the three-eighths, Romanee Blue Chip overtook the leader before the three-quarters and rolled to a convincing win in Tuesday’s (Dec. 28) feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, an $11,000 conditioned trot.

Once Romanee Blue Chip powered past Father Time, he opened up for Hunter Myers and triumphed in 1:56.1. Patrick’s Way was second, 2-1/4 lengths back, with Tanzanite Trick third.

Joelene Christman trains Romanee Blue Chip, a 4-year-old Cantab Hall-Munis Blue Chip gelding who won for the third time in his last four starts, and owns with Mark Christman.

Dave Palone piloted three winners on the 12-race card.
