Fort Washington, MD – Following Thursday’s (Dec. 18) program at Rosecroft Raceway, the Capital Region harness racing venue will go dark for a month-long holiday interval before commencing its winter-spring 2026 meeting on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026.
The 34-day stand will again feature live harness racing on Monday and Thursday evenings through and including April 30, followed by four programs in May: Saturday, May 2 (Kentucky Derby Day); Thursdays, May 7 and 14; and Saturday, May 16 (Preakness Day). Post time on Mondays and Thursdays remains unchanged at 7:15 p.m. (EST); Saturday post time is to be determined.
Rosecroft, located at 6336 Rosecroft Dr., Fort Washington, Md. — less than a mile from Exit 4A off the Capital Beltway — remains open daily for simulcast wagering on Thoroughbred and Standardbred racing across North America, but will be closed on Christmas Day (Dec. 25).
