The featured $125,000 Potomac Pace, to be run Thursday, Nov. 9, will once again bring some of harness racing’s biggest stars to the ‘Raceway by the Beltway’ as it has the past seven years. The field of eight for Tuesday’s $14,000 pace includes Val’s Girl, undefeated as a 2-year-old in 10 starts last year and a winner of five of 10 starts this year with four seconds. Steve LeBlanc trains. Roger Plante Jr. will be in the sulky.

Jonathan Roberts, who drives Mimado in the feature, led all drivers during the Rosecroft winter/spring meet with 68 trips to the winner’s circle. Michael Hall, who sends out Mimado and Pasta Momma, was the leading trainer.
