Kinglet Bird with Ôrjan Kihlström in the bike and trained by Daniel Redén won the Stochampionat at Axevalla with a purse for the winner of $225,000.

Stochampionatet is one of the finest races for 4-year-old mares and is raced over 1-5/8th miles. Kinglet Bird won by two lengths and was timed in 1:58.1.

With the winner’s purse of $225,000, Kinglet Bird now has lifetime earnings of $330,000; not bad for a mare who was found on an internet sale and bought for $14,500.
