Sacramento, CA — There is a $27,442 carryover in Saturday night’s (Feb. 10) 50-cent Pick-5 at Cal Expo with a $75,000-guaranteed gross pool.

The Pick-5 is conducted on the first five races on the card and comes with a reduced 16 percent takeout rate, along with the 20-cent Pick-4.

Saturday’s feature race is a $6,600 Open Trot that finds Pridecrest looking for his sixth straight win while doing his work from the demanding No. 10 post position.

His new owner is Heather Matthews with Luke Plano training and Nick Roland in the sulky.
