Saturday Night at the Races set to return on Sirius XM Radio

Fair Haven, NJ — Saturday Night at the Races, the show that brings the best in harness racing action to the 21 million subscribers of Sirius XM satellite radio, is set to return May 28.

Produced by Creative Media Productions, the show will consist of 10 consecutive Saturday night broadcasts that will cover the major races of the night from across North America. Saturday Night at the Races will run each night from 9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. (EDT) and can be heard on Sirius Channel 93 and XM Channel 209.

The show was made possible through the generosity of its sponsors, Yonkers Raceway, Brittany Farms, Perretti Farms, Tioga and Vernon Downs and the Woodbine Entertainment Group.

Those unable to catch Saturday Night at the Races live on Sirius XM can hear a podcast of the broadcast the next day at Brittany’s website, www.britfarms.com.

Dave Johnson, the longtime voice of the Kentucky Derby on ABC Sports, and racing journalist Bill Finley will host Saturday Night at the Races. Owner-trainer Peter Kleinhans will return in his role as the analyst.

“We’re delighted to be back for a second year,” said producer Ed Pappas. “This ten-week window allows us to put the spotlight on harness racing during the time of year when it is at its very best.”
