Scioto’s July 6 card on Fox Sports

Columbus, OH – Eldorado Scioto Downs will broadcast the Saturday, July 6 card on FS2 as part of the America’s Day at the Races broadcast.

The evening card will play host to the Next Generation (for Ohio-sired 2-year-olds), the Moni Maker (an open event for 3-year-old filly trotters) and the Nadia Lobell (open event for 3-year-old filly pacers).

The July 6 broadcast, produced by the New York Racing Association, will cover both Meadowlands and Scioto races.

“We are extremely excited to showcase the Next Generation of Ohio-sired stars on America’s Day at the Races,” said Jason Roth, Scioto’s director of racing. “Coupled with our first time hosting the Moni Maker and Nadia Lobell, not to mention the Meadowlands races, it should be a very good show for everyone to tune into.”

The broadcast will span three hours (from 8 to 11 p.m.) and cover the Graduate Finals and Meadowlands Pace eliminations, along with Scioto’s six events.

“We look forward to presenting an outstanding night of harness racing July 6,” said Eric Donovan, NYRA’s senior director of TV broadcast operations. “Viewers will be treated to plenty of stakes action across three hours, with over $1.5 million in purses up for grabs. The broadcast will feature on-site coverage from Gabe Prewitt and Jenna Otten at Scioto, with Jenna’s sister, Jessica Otten, at The Meadowlands.”
