Saratoga Springs, NY — Send It In Hanover won his third installment of the $16,500 Open Trot of the 2026 Saratoga Casino Hotel meeting with a 1:56.4 victory on Tuesday afternoon (April 7), headlining a training triple for Jaymes McAssey.
Just after But Why and driver Jimmy Devaux posted a :28 first quarter, Kyle Swift powered even-money favorite Send It In Hanover to the top. The pair led the field to the half in :58.1 and never encountered an anxious moment en route to a 2-3/4-length victory.

But Why rode the pocket to finish second; long shot Delayed Hanover (Jacob Cutting) closed to finish third.
Send It In Hanover, a 5-year-old Greenshoe gelding owned by Paul O’Neil, joined Platinum As and Memorynimagination as three-time winners in the Open Trot this season while giving McAssey and Swift the first of their three winners on the card. They also teamed up to win with claiming trotter Secret Or Not, who recorded his fourth win of the year, before springing a 21-1 upset in the finale with Asset Station.
Live racing at Saratoga continues Wednesday (April 8); first post is noon.
