LaGrange, IN — Shadyshark Hanover p,2,1:50.4s; 3,1:47.4 ($765,656), a son of Cam’s Card Shark-Shady Past-No Nukes, will stand in 2012 at Victory Hill Farm in LaGrange, Ind.
Shadyshark Hanover was 2011’s fastest 3-year-old pacer with his stakes record 1:47.4 in a division of the Oliver Wendell Holmes at the Meadowlands while defeating Roll With Joe. He also finished second in the Battle of the Brandywine consolation and a North America Cup elimination.
At two, he earned more than $500,000 while taking victories in the Nassageweya, Breeders Crown elim (finishing second in the final), Governor’s Cup elim (finishing second in the final) and Metro elim.
The fastest 3-year-old son of leading sire Cam’s Card Shark, he’s out of the prolific Shady Past, dam of two sub-1:50 winners, seven in 1:55 and five $100,000-plus winners.
His 2012 fee will be $3,000.
