Saratoga Springs, NY — Shes A Castoff (Current Cast) went back-to-back in the co-feature on Thursday night (Aug. 13) at Saratoga Casino and Raceway.

Shes A Castoff was a 2:00 winner on Thursday.

Kim Crawford trains and drives the 4-year-old mare who made her local debut this season after a dominant 3-year-old campaign in the State of Maine in 2014.

Crawford moved Shes A Castoff out to the early lead in Thursday’s $8,300 co-feature for trotters that were winners of two but not more than four lifetime. The mare never faced an anxious moment in wiring the field in 2:00 after setting a lifetime mark of 1:58 last week.

It completed a driving double for the veteran Crawford who piloted In The Huddle (American Ideal) to his maiden win earlier on the card for conditioner Kevin Gould.

Chris Marino’s Gianni (Mark Beckwith) scored in the other $8,300 co-featured trot as the big favorite cruised on the lead to match his career best 1:57.1 win time.
