Harrington, DE — Breakaway Racing and Yorwollahan Racing Team’s Speed Away (Corey Callahan, $3.40) continued his success at Harrington Raceway with a 1:56.4 triumph in the $18,500 Open Trot on Wednesday (May 14).
The 7-year-old Father Patrick gelding overcame post eight with a confident first-over charge to the lead near three-quarters that saw him draw away from the field and win by 5-1/4 lengths. Not For Moni was second; Vlahos was third.

Speed Away’s last 10 wins of his career have come over the Harrington half-mile oval, including three already this year since the meet opened in mid-April.
The win was also part of a big night for team Callahan, as trainer Nick and driver Corey teamed up for three wins.
Defending Harrington driving champion Montrell Teague also made his presence felt with four wins on the card.
On the undercard, Muscle Dynasty ($3.60, Tony Morgan) won a $14,500 winners-over trot in 1:56.4.
Live racing at Harrington will continue on a Monday-through-Wednesday schedule (post time 4:30 p.m.).
