Kingsmen, PEI – Sportswriter is moving from Tara Hills Stud to stand with Ashley MacDonald at Kingsmen Equine in PEI, Canada.
To-date, Sportswriter is the sire of the winners of over $83 million and has sired two millionaires, Jimmy Freight and Karma Seelster. His average earnings per starter is $80,270 and he has sired 854 winners.
On the racetrack, Sportswriter earned $1,649,411 and took a 3-year-old mark of 1:48.3s. He won the Metro Final at age 2 and the North America Cup Final at 3.
Sportswriter left to head to PEI at noon Thursday (July 10).
