Springfield, IL – Two spring previews will be held for 3-year-old and up Illinois bred horses on May 16th and May 23rd at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. The total purse payout for each day will be $30,000. Entry fees for Springfield based trainers will be $50 for purse races and $35 for qualifiers. Entry fees for non-Springfield based trainers will be $65 for purse races and $50 for qualifiers.

A 2-year-old summer preview for Illinois bred horses will be held on June 3rd at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds. The total purse payout for the day is $40,000. Entry fees for all trainers will be $50 for purse races and $50 for qualifiers.

Qualifiers will be held on all three days if needed. Entry fees must still be paid for scratched horses. All scratches must be reported to race office in a timely manner. All horses need a negative Coggins within one year and EHV vaccine within 6 months.
