Saratoga Springs, NY — Larry Stalbaum enjoyed a lucrative Tuesday (June 15) at Saratoga Casino Hotel, scoring an owning, training and driving hat trick — and with each pacer recording victory in a different fashion.

Stalbaum’s American Zest A converted as the 2-5 favorite in the $11,250 pacing feature. The 7-year-old son of American Ideal moved first-over after a :55.1 half before powering to a 1:52.2 win, his fourth of the season.

Shady City won despite being parked the mile for a second consecutive week, toughing out an overland journey to score in 1:56 in the claiming opener. Itsonlyrocknroll A prevailed the old fashioned way, going coast-to-coast in 1:54.1 in an $8,500 pace — but the veteran Million Dollar Cam gelding ended up being claimed out of the race.
