Stoletheshow steals show again

Gävle, SE — 9-year-old Swedish trotter Stoletheshow with Magnus A. Djuse driving, earned himself again a spot in the Elitloppet winning the HKH Prince Daniels Race at Gävle Saturday (May 18) afternoon.

A fortnight ago, Stoletheshow won the Finlandia Ajo at Vermo, who also gave him a spot in the Elitloppet.

So now Stoletheshow has earned himself two spots in one of the world’s biggest trotting races.

But he is not going to race in the Elitlopp!

It’s too tough with two heats – and we are going after the Oslo Grand Prix in June, trainer Frode Hamre says.

Stoletheshow was fantastic in today’s race, where he was parked outsider leading Click Bait with Per Lennartssonmost of the trip, but still was strongest down the stretch and won by a neck in 1.52.1f.

Solvalla still need two horses to complete the field of 16 in the Elitloppet.

Today the 5-year-old Swedish mare, Decision Maker (sired by Nuncio) owned and trained by Stefan “Tarzan” Melander was invited as the 14th horse.
