This attitude was prevalent during the second preliminary of the Pennsylvania-sired program on Wednesday (July 19) afternoon at Harrah’s Philadelphia, as many of the two-year-old trotting filly winners were either pointed to the top and went on to victory, or were moved first-over and went on to the triumph.

Aaron Merriman found the winner’s circle three times in four Ohio Sires Stakes races Tuesday (July 18) at Eldorado Scioto Downs. Merriman swept both $55,000 divisions for freshman colt trotters and one of the $55,000 divisions for 2-year-old filly trotters.

Minnesota-sired freshman trotters were in the spotlight at Running Aces on Tuesday night (July 18) with two divisions competing for a total purse of $36,500.
