When George Fenno III retired after 21 years as a military police officer, he had little doubt about what he wanted to do with his free time. The disabled veteran had just purchased a farm in Bell, Fla., adjacent to Gilcrest Training Center, so he was well on his way to pursuing one of his life’s dreams.

The top three finishers in the $13,000 featured trot on Thursday afternoon (May 23) at Harrah’s Philadelphia collectively surpassed $5 million in lifetime earnings as Eurobond ($728,400) defeated Crystal Fashion ($2,341,250) by three-quarters of a length, with JL Cruze ($1,938,160) another length back in third.
