The Dan Patch 2024 Older Female Pacer of the Year, Grace Hill, won her first start of 2024 at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Friday (May 17). Leaving from their assigned post eight, Tony Hall sent Grace Hill straight to the top and won the $27,000 fillies and mares open pace by three-quarters of a length in 1:50.3.

Sophomore trotters took center stage on Friday (May 17), at Harrah’s Hoosier Park with a pair of $25,000 series finals highlighting the 14-race card. Agent Of Fortune completed a clean sweep of the Msnaughtybynature series, while Helpem Dance shook loose late claim the Expresson each for non-winners of two trotters.

P L Princess C (Aaron Byron) captured the $9,000 fillies & mares’ pace at Tioga Downs on Friday (May 17).

Fear Her Touch (Leon Bailey) captures the $6500 featured fillies & mares pace at Vernon Downs on Friday (May 17).

Beddanburg remained razor sharp on Friday afternoon (May 17) as the 4-year-old gelding was victorious for the fourth time in his last five starts with a half length win over Sportsmanship in Buffalo Raceway’s co-featured $9,000 pace.

Bares All, in only her fourth lifetime start, reduced her record by over three seconds to 1:52.3, winning the $12,000 distaff pacing feature at Harrah’s Philadelphia Friday afternoon (May 17).
