Dexter Dunn drove Bourbonista S to the fastest trotting mile by an aged mare at The Meadowlands in winning the $129,400 Grade 3 Six Pack Open Trot on Saturday (July 4), a night that also saw Lexus Kody equal a track record with his win in the $131,250 Grade 3 JL Cruze.

Sent the third longest shot in the betting, Marcus Melander trainee Bourbonista S bounded off the gate from post 9 for a pocket seat and shook free at the right time spinning for home to dart through a wide inside gap and crush her competition in the C$215,000 Grade 2 Armbro Flight, for older trotting mares, at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday night (June 13).
Benny J takes aim at third win in a row Sunday at Big M
After finishing his 2025 campaign with back-to-back victories, Benny J will look to continue his winning ways in his first start this year when he meets nine rivals in Sunday afternoon’s (Jan. 11) featured trot at the Meadowlands.
