The Hambletonian Society, which owns and administers 164 of harness racing’s most prestigious events, has partnered with Don Hawk’s Hawk Sports Management firm to pursue corporate partnerships, brand activations and sponsorships for upcoming events. The agreement covers the $7 million Breeders Crown championship series in 2026 and 2027 and the 2027 Hambletonian Stakes at Harrah’s Hoosier Park in Indiana.

The Hambletonian Society voted Thursday (Aug. 13) to move the $1 million Grade 1 Hambletonian to Harrah’s Hoosier Park, in Anderson, Ind., after a 46-year run at the Meadowlands, in East Rutherford, N.J.
101st Hambletonian to air on CBS Sports Network
CBS Sports Network will present a 60-minute telecast of the $1 million Grade 1 Winning Key Farm Hambletonian from The Meadowlands Racetrack, East Rutherford, N.J., on Sunday, Aug. 9, from 6-7 p.m. (EDT). The Hambletonian is the second leg of the Trotting Triple Crown. A second replay of the show will occur on Saturday, Aug. 15, at 11a.m. (EDT).
