The sophomore sensation that is On To Norway concluded his 3-year-old season with a 23rd straight victory, outdueling a game Gimpanzee Dancer to take the $47,700 Thanksgiving Classic, for 3-year-old male trotters, as one of four wins on the evening for trainer Ron Burke on Friday (Nov. 28) at Harrah’s Hoosier Park.
Sophomore fillies steal the show at Hoosier
The Indiana Sires Stakes returned to Harrah’s Hoosier Park on Friday (July 26). The streaking Hail Broadway won the lone $95,500 event for 3-year-old trotting fillies while Lets Go Endofaera and Lyin’ Eyes delivered as favorites in teir respective $48,500 divisions for 3-year-old pacing fillies.
