When he was a kid, Jason Melillo’s grandfather, Victor, often would bring Melillo and other young family members to the Meadowlands to enjoy the races. Now, on Saturday night, Melillo will be among the owners of a homebred pacer named Melillo in the $810,000 Grade 1 Meadowlands Pace.
