Annie Stoebe came into this year enthusiastically looking forward to racing an established star among older trotters, the 5-year-old mare Elista Hanover, and a highly regarded Hambletonian Stakes contender, 3-year-old colt trotter Diabolic Hill. Nelsonbriteagle NO coasts to Miss Versatility triumph
Norwegian-bred Nelsonbriteagle NO and driver Dexter Dunn benefited from early breaks in stride by HP Mama B (Louis Roy) and Tipsy Money (Yannick Gingras) and coasted to a 7-3/4-length, 1:52.3 romp in the $90,000 Miss Versatility final, for trotting mares, on the Thursday (Sept. 19) undercard at the Delaware (Ohio) County Fair. Adare Castle (James MacDonald) was second; Tactical Mounds (Scott Zeron) was third.
