Frantic Hanover captured the other split in a lifetime best 1:50 to remain undefeated and give trainer Ron Burke a sweep of the day’s marquee events.

Ron Burke achieved his 16,000th career training victory earlier this week, and based on the action at Harrah’s Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon (Aug. 14), he seems to want to get to 17,000 in the shortest amount of time possible.

On Friday afternoon (Aug. 8) at Harrah’s Philadelphia, two 2-year-old pacing fillies from the Burke Brigade swept the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes third preliminary round during a card where $216,216 was up for grabs in stakes action.
