Dover, DE — Majorca N motored home for her third consecutive win in the $25,000 Mares Open Handicap Pace at Bally’s Dover on Wednesday night (Feb. 19).
Majorca N exploded off the wings of the starting gate and led a field of quality distaff pacing mares through an opening quarter of :26.4 and a :55.4 first half. Incaseyoudidntknow, the even-money favorite, sprinted first-over up the backstretch in pursuit of the leader while Elektra A stalked from the pocket.
Majorca N and Incaseyoudidntknow matched strides passing three-quarters in 1:23.3 and all the way to top of the stretch while Elektra A stalked along the pylons. Majorca N prevailed and won by a neck in 1:51.3. Incaseyoudidntknow finished a game second; Elektra A finished third.

Corey Callahan drove Majorca N, a daughter of Art Major who paid $5.20 to win, for owner Michael Casalino Jr. and trainer Dylan Davis.
Earlier on the card, Majorca N’s stablemate Ludacrous A made her United States pari-mutuel debut a winning one, scoring in 1:52.
Callahan won four races on the night, Davis scored a training double, and Casalino recorded an owning double.
Thursday’s (Feb. 20) feature is the $25,000 Open Handicap Pace, carded as race 10. Alta Revelry N, last week’s winner, takes on six other hard-knocking pacers. First post is 4:30 p.m.
