Two Kentucky fair horses extend win streaks to six

Lebanon, KY — Among the 11 Kentucky Colt Association Woodford County Kentucky Fair winners this year on Friday (July 20), only two top performers matched win times, 2:02, and extended their win streaks to six races.

Top trotter Vanessa Valentine, by Dejarmbro out of Delmartha, won the $5,000 3-year-old filly trot race. She is trained, driven, and owned by Jack Gray, Jr.

Consistent pacer Fort El Said, by Well Said out of Fastidious Hanover, won the $5,000 3-year-old colt pace. He is trained by Philip Cotton, driven by Randy Crisler and owned by David Arboe.

Harness racing at Kentucky fairs continues July 27 at Red Mile and the fair finals are there Aug. 4.
