Update on Artiscape

from Brittany Farms

Versailles, KY — Artiscape has made steady progress following his colic surgery to remove ten feet of his small intestine on May 24.

On Thursday (May 27), he had normal gastrointestinal responses and appeared bright and alert. While it appears that he has passed the critical stage, there is still the possibility of post-surgery issues.

“While I was unfamiliar with New England Equine Practice I have to say that I couldn’t be more comfortable with the situation right now,” reports Art Zubrod of the Artiscape Syndicate. They have been very professional and communicative. Matt Harrison of Winbak has been visiting Artiscape daily and is happy with his progress.”
