Columbus, OH – The U.S. Trotting Association is proud to announce the first ever Brand-A-Thon. The two-day Brand-A-Thon will be held Friday, Oct. 31 – Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Shenandoah County Fairgrounds in Woodstock, VA.

The USTA encourages everyone in the area with a horse that requires identification to attend.
USTA ID technicians Mike Kimelman and Doris “Dee” Lineweaver will be on hand providing this service for free for anyone who RSVPs by the deadline. They will be set up at the Charles Robbins barn on the fairgrounds. Limited stall space will be available during your appointment only.
RSVPs are requested and can be made to Aimee Hock, assistant registrar, by Friday, Oct. 24, 2025. Failure to RSVP will result in the $40.00 branding fee being assessed. Acceptable forms of payment are check or Visa, Mastercard, or American Express at time of service.
“We wanted to make this process as easy, efficient and practical as possible,” said USTA Chief Operating Officer TC Lane. “This is the first of its kind for centralized identification for our members, so hopefully, the members will be able to utilize this opportunity.”
Please come prepared with your horse’s name, registration number or sire and dam name, and year of foaling.
