Plainville, MA — District 9 of the United States Trotting Association, along with several New England horsemen’s organizations, will hold annual meetings on Saturday, Nov. 13, at Plainridge Racecourse.

At 4 p.m. the New England Amateur Harness Drivers Club will hold its annual meeting, followed by those of the Harness Horsemen’s Association of New England and the Standardbred Owners of Massachusetts, respectively.

From 4:15-5:15 p.m. the polls will be open to cast ballots for the District 9 directorship, and the annual district meeting will be conducted from 5:15-6:00 p.m.

A social hour will follow and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Following dinner there will be a ceremony during which the New England Amateur Harness Drivers Club, the Standardbred Owners of Massachusetts and Plainridge Racecourse will bestow their end of the year awards.

There is no charge for the meal, which is courtesy of the Harness Horsemen’s Association of New England and Plainridge Racecourse. However, RSVPs are necessary, and can be made by contacting Lenny Calderone at 508.643.2500, ext. 130.
