USTA membership is free for those under 18

Columbus, OH — Did you know that those under the age of 18 can become a USTA member for free?

Get the young person in your life a USTA membership and they will receive:

— a subscription to Youth Beats, a twice-a-year harness racing publication put out by Hoof Beats magazine
— a Standardbred Star activity book (sent out approximately one month after their membership is completed
— all the benefits of USTA membership including member rate on Hoof Beats subscriptions, ownership transfers, Pathway reports, free program pages for horses they own who are racing, and more

For any youth participating in 4-H or showing a Standardbred (including leadliners), your free USTA membership also gives you the ability to participate in the Standardbred Incentive Program (SIP) at no additional charge. All that is required to participate in SIP is a USTA membership, an email address and a USTA MyAccount. For more information about the Standardbred Incentive Program, visit this webpage.
