Columbus, OH — W. Dean Wampfler, 88, died April, 24, 2013 at his home. Dean was a driver, trainer and owner who was known for his driving colors of pink & purple. He raced at Northfield Park, The Meadows and Wheeling Downs.

Dean loved his trotters Salmon Patty, Split N Git, Mighty Empire and Brash Cash. Dean was the saddle-pad and numbers man for the Tuscarawas County Fair.

Dean is survived by his son Wayne, and daughters Linda, Kathy and Cindy.
