Finland — The Swedish trainer Daniel Wäjersten had a busy but good Saturday (June 14).
In the afternoon, Wäjersten was in Finland, where he won with Borups Victory (sired by Googoo Gaagaa) in the Kymi Grand Prix – a Group 1 race with a first prize of 85,000 Euros raced at the track in Kouvola.
Together with five colleagues he flew back to Sweden and in the evening, he won at the Swedish track, Boden – the Norrbotten Grand Prix – also a Group 1 race – with the Italian trotter Cash Gio (sired by Victor Gio) – here the first prize was 1 million SEK – or 105,000 dollars.
