Walner brother Tetrick Wania stunning winner in Sweden

Jägersro, SE — Though Tetrick Wania with Riina Rekilä made a break just before the starting gate left the field in the Svenskt Uppföddningslopp at Jägersro and was more than 60 yards behind the field before he began to trot, Tetrick Wania was able to come back and win very easy by six lengths in 1:58.3f.

“When I got him back to trot the field was not so far away, so I decided to give a try,” Rekilä said afterwards.

This was race number seven for Tetrick Wania and win number five.

Today’s win was worth $155,000.

Tetrick Wania is named after Tim Tetrick – the driver of Walner – and a sea in Finland, the home of Riina Rekilä.
