Weekend winners move up in Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll
August 23, 2022,Hightstown, NJ — Weekend winners Test Of Faith, Joviality S, and Beach Glass moved up in the Week 12 Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll released Tuesday while idle Bulldog Hanover remained firmly entrenched in the No. 1 position.
Test Of Faith won the Cleopatra Invitational and went from fourth to second. Joviality S captured the Delmonica Hanover and moved from fifth to third while Beach Glass won the Max C. Hempt Memorial and rose from sixth to fourth.
Bella Bellini, who was third in the Sebastian K Invitational dropped from second to fifth and idle Alrajah One IT fell from third to sixth. The remaining four positions were unchanged.
The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll does not determine Horse of the Year. The members of the U.S. Harness Writers Association vote on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.
Rankings based on the votes of harness racing media representatives on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis.
