Weiner dogs at Knox County Fair (OH)
July 21, 2024,Mt. Vernon, OH — So they took a group of Wiener Dogs (Dachshunds), put them in the Starting Gate, and then, as Roger Huston emceed the event, called out, “Go!”
They ran, hopped, jumped, and scrambled around in circles before reaching the finish line 20 feet away in ten seconds.
The crowd had filled up the grandstand, lined the fences four-deep, and loved it.
Maybe the horsemen should have added a one-minute exhibition stand-still start race with five horses named “Mustard,” “Ketchup,” “Relish,” “Onions,” and “Sauerkraut” for their enjoyment too?
And remember the red hot chill peppers!
