Western Vintage added to stallion list in final two days

Edgerton, OH — The Defiance County (Ohio) Area Horsemen’s Association has added the pacing stallion Western Vintage (Western Ideal-Major Harmony) to its list of stallions for their silent auction for stallion breedings. Western Vintage stands at Abby Stables of Sugarcreek, Ohio.

The auction is in its final two days as the bidding closes at 7 p.m. on Friday (March 27).

The other stallions in the auction include the Ohio pacing stallions Cheyenne Rei, Ghee’s House, Kyle Major, Monkey Off My Back, Palone Ranger, Running Book, Strong Player and Thin Blue Line; the Ohio trotting stallions And Away We Go, Cayenne Turbo, Clocked At Eighty, Hard Rock N Roll, Manhattan, Rompaway Wally and Sheffield; the Indiana pacing stallions He’s Gorgeous, Major Bombay, Pro North and Proper Respect; the Indiana trotting stallions Cherry Hill Park, Elegant Man and Got That Look; the Pennsylvania pacing stallion Tuffofthetoughest; the Maryland pacing stallion The Fraternity Pan; and the Maryland trotting stallion Four Starz Robro.

Should any stallions not receive a bid by 7 p.m. on Friday (March 27), silent bids on those stallions only will be accepted at the Association’s reverse raffle on Saturday (March 28).

A few tickets are still available for the reverse raffle and can be purchased by phoning the above number. First prize is $1,500 and you need not be present to win. The cost per ticket is $50. All proceeds from the silent stallion auction and the reverse raffle go toward supporting the harness racing program at the Defiance County Fair at Hicksville, Ohio.
