Grabill, IN – Whata Swan, at one time the fastest trotter in the state of Indiana, stands his 2026 season at Chapel Ridge Farm. The son of Swan For All-Tanya’s Legacy stands for a fee of $4,000.

In five seasons of competition, Whata Swan registered 35 wins while hitting the board in 60 percent of his 111 lifetime starts. As a freshman, he was stakes placed in Grand Circuit action at the Indiana State Fair. As a three year old he won eight times, winning multiple Indiana Sire Stakes divisions, the Star Destroyer and Circle City at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino.
Regularly competing in the open trots in Indiana and Ohio, Whata Swan collected 25 of his 35 trips to the winner’s circle. As a five year old, he won 14 times, capturing the $50,000 Indiana Sire Stakes final for older male trotters by more than three lengths. At age six, Whata Swan established a new speed standard for trotters at Hoosier Park in his final season of racing. Driven by Trace Tetrick, the stallion trotted in 1:53 or faster in nine of 13 seasonal starts. He wired the field during a May 2022 start in a time of 1:50.3, lowering the mark previously held by Lindy The Great. Whata Swan’s time is still the standard for trotting stallions, equaled by It’s Academic in 2023, and only three-fifths slower than gelding Ponda Jet’s 1:50 clocking.
